The Rebuild Process

Run cycles before taking table apart to verify condition on every function to help find problems with hydraulic and mechanical components.

Table is taken completely apart, all spacers on rails, all chrome handles, spacers and chrome parts are re-chromed with Satin Chrome. Casters are replaced with new ones. Every broken part is replaced with original parts ordered through Manufacturer.

Oil filter is replaced with a new one. Every single hydraulic line is flushed complete to eliminate any old oil. All valves and the main cylinder are rebuilt. Start Capacitor on motor is replaced. The power cord and plug are replaced with hospital grade and all electrical parts are UL (Underwriter Laboratories) approved. The pump assembly is also totally rebuilt.

All mechanical functions: shafts, bearings, tower assembly, back, brakes, pedals side, tilt, leg, kidney bridge, Trendelenburg, flex have all grease removed and re-lubricated with high grade oil. Sand, prime, and paint all parts as needed. Buff all side rails and head, kidney, back seat, leg tops, side covers, base cover, tower covers. Body work done as needed.

Table is then assembled starting with the base once all components are ready. Pedal assembly is first to be attached to base, then brake mechanism, making sure that pedals move nice and smooth. Assemble rest of base components, tower and top. Mechanical adjustments are made during the process. New Hydraulic oil (recommended by Manufacturer) is used doing this process. Once table is completely assembled , hydraulic adjustments are made using pressure gauge. All functions are run to be sure the oil pressure is correct. Weight is put on the table overnight to be sure the main cylinder is holding height. All mechanical functions are run to check for smoothness and stability.

Cycles are run with a person on the table. Before the locking side panel and base cover , there is a check for leaks. Table is moved from one place to another to make sure casters move freely. Check for correct oil level.
